Parker 51 Mk III Fountain Pen

Here we have a lovely Parker 51 Mk III fountain pen review.

FYI:

- The Mk II and III have the same all metal sac guard, only the Mk I has a plastic plug at the end.
- The collector of the Mk III is made by injection molding, as is for the Mk II. Mk I ones were turned from solid rods. The main difference between the Mk II and III is that the Mk III not aerometric anymore due to a change to a short breather tube.
- There is two versions of the Mk III cap: some with the usual "51" clip (jewel + screw) and later ones (from 1973 onward) are of the 75 style (metal screw).
- The Mk III is made in the same sort of plastic than the 61, by injection molding. Prone to shrinkage, but this exemple seems to have aged well.
